The Deal Recognizes Mintz’s Joseph Ronca as Part of Top Rising Stars List

Ronca, a member of the firm’s corporate and mergers and acquisitions practices, is an honoree in The Deal’s Top Rising Stars: Class of 2021.

The Deal, an award-winning financial news organization, is proud to announce that Mintz’s Joseph Ronca has been named to its 2021 Top Rising Stars list.

Ronca concentrates his practice on a range of domestic and international transactions, focusing on mergers and acquisitions as well as debt financings. He has represented clients in a variety of industries, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, chemical manufacturing, telecommunications, and retail. He also handles a wide variety of general corporate matters.. Ronca joined Mintz in January 2014 and was promoted to Member at the firm in December 2020. 

Though Ronca’s work spans a variety of transaction types, on the M&A side, his recent highlights include representing: Royal Philips in its $635 million acquisition of Capsule Technologies, Inc. in January; Orgenesis Inc. in the $127 million sale of its stake in MaSTherCell Global Inc. to Catalent Pharma Solutions Inc. and Cox Media Group in the sale of assets related to Dayton Newspapers to Cox Enterprises Inc., both announced in February 2020.
